Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support government and contractor inventories across storage, receiving, and shipping functions.

The role is based on-site in Boydton, VA, and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities. You will manage storage, track movements, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with teams to keep inventories accurate and secure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 2+ years’ experience; supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to perform accurate physical inventories and audits
• Strong IT skills: data entry and MS Excel/Word
• Attention to detail and ownership of inventory

Responsibilities

• Monitor discrepancies and fill requests on time
• Maintain safe, accessible storage and control access
• Inspect and receive items with proper barcodes
• Fill and track shipments; follow ITAR and export regulations
• Analyze quantities and conduct periodic inventories
• Record transfers and manage scrap and end-of-life items
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
