Job summary

Taylor Corporation’s Taylor Visual Impressions division in Duluth, GA is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Team Lead. You will guide the day‑to‑day inventory functions, drive accuracy, and partner with warehouse, production, purchasing, and operations to improve performance.

The role requires leadership, continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and train staff on inventory best practices while ensuring data integrity in ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or related field.
• Experience leading or directing work in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP/WMS systems.
• Strong Excel skills with inventory reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build cross-department relationships.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to operate or become certified on warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day inventory control activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as the primary contact for inventory questions and discrepancies.
• Coordinate and prioritize inventory activities including cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory levels and material flow to support production schedules.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance on inventory best practices.
• Partner with receiving, shipping, production, and purchasing to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and data in ERP/WMS.
