• Demonstrated ownership of inventory control processes and systems.
• Experience with cycle counting, auditing, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve inventory control processes and procedures.
• Establish and maintain cycle counting, auditing, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy controls.
• Determine appropriate stocking levels, reorder points, replenishment strategies, and safety stock.
• Analyze historical usage, demand forecasts, and lead times to support inventory decisions.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Utilize SAP to support inventory management, tracking, analysis, and controls.
• Manage inventory involving spare parts, serialized equipment, devices, components, or similar physical assets.
• Monitor inventory performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure inventory availability, accuracy, and effective controls.

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to support an organization in Frederick, MD. This position is focused on the ownership, development, and continuous improvement of inventory control systems, processes, and strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating an existing inventory environment, identifying gaps, implementing stronger controls, and measuring improvements in inventory accuracy and performance.
