Job summary

Reports to: Strategic Operations Manager

Position Objective

The Inventory Control is responsible for counting, documenting and researching discrepancies of company inventory.

Description of Physical Tasks

Keep all warehouse load areas and grounds clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Fills racks, pushes/pulls pallets and loads appropriate products. Climbing on and off forklifts.

Responsibilities Include

• 1. Must report to work daily and on time.
• 2. Complete daily cycle counts comparing on hand inventory to counts while researching problematic issues.
• 3. Must be knowledgeable with all supplier specific code dating.
• 4. Assist in the company’s full physical inventory as needed.
• 5. Must be able to use and understand company systems and computer programs. I.E. VIP, email, Excel etc.
• 6. Properly identify close coded product and accurately record in the company’s route accounting software.
• 7. Report any accidents to a supervisor.
• 8. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers and other employees of the company.
• 9. Maintain open and clear communications with the vendors and retailers that do business with the company.
• 10. Dress in uniform and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.
• 11. Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
• 12. Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.
• 13. Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.
• 14. Adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices.
• 15. All other duties as assigned.
