Job summary

Southland Industries in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee this location’s inventory, optimize storage, and ensure efficient use of resources. You will manage stock levels, forecast demand, and enforce policies to minimize costs.

Responsibilities include data analysis with Excel, Power BI and WMS, staff training, and reconciling discrepancies while maintaining strong internal controls and cost accounting practices to support operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in inventory, supply chains, and distribution preferred.
• High school diploma plus a Bachelor’s in SCM or Manufacturing Management ideal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software essential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing ordering, unloading, storage, and use of materials from raw components to finished goods.
• Forecast demand by analyzing historical data, trends, and lead times.
• Investigate issues and implement process improvements to prevent future problems.
• Lead and train staff involved in inventory control.
• Use Excel, Power BI, and WMS to analyze data and report on metrics.
• Ensure internal controls and cost accounting related to inventory.
