Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate stock records and optimize warehouse efficiency. The role focuses on cycle counts, data integrity, and efficient material handling in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will supervise inventory accuracy, support FIFO and Kan Ban processes, and collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Office, Excel, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience in materials, warehouse, or logistics.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date inventory records and conduct periodic audits.
• Enter data into the business system daily, support and maintain any documentation systems.
• Transact materials to update the business system.
• Enforce all processes so that only authorized personnel can receive or distribute materials to or from stock.
• Support daily dispatch lists “Scheduling”.
• Handle, store, pack, label, and distribute material using proper techniques to ensure no damage and inventory accuracy.
• Support FIFO practices while storing inventory items.
• Review cycle count records and compare to on-hand quantities; reconcile differences.
• Maintain and participate in the Kan Ban system.
• Prepare quarterly review of cycle count accuracy and present to management with recommendations for improvement.
• Create serialization labels as required.
• Perform all activities related to customer consigned inventories ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain records on shortages and back orders and coordinate with other departments.
• Support programming components via proper processes to ensure a quality product.
• Create locations for new inventory.
• Fulfill and finalize part requests.
• Collaborate with production, supervisor and logistics to maintain smooth operations.
• Support Vendor managed inventory.
• Train new hires and entry level Material Handlers.
