Job summary

humano LLC in the United States seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain, track, and report physical inventory, ensuring accuracy for operations and fiscal records. This role supports internal and external customers and emphasizes accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Pay is $21.50/hour. Schedule is full-time, 4 days/week with 10-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM or until work is completed, with flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating MHE is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
  • Ability to operate and learn to operate various technology including computers and tablets.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills necessary for proper counting and verification of pallet IDs.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize WMS data to ensure inventory control.
  • Identify and address quality control issues to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in inventory functions and programs.
  • Check and exchange pallets as needed, reporting any damage or discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and repair of the dock and facility areas.
  • Wrap and stack pallets for safe storage and transport.
  • Safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) after training.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, housekeeping, and other relevant standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to maintain inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Environmental Job Conditions
  • Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Regularly engage in sitting, standing, walking, bending, and squatting in a refrigerated warehouse setting.
  • Perform tasks such as grasping, reaching, pushing, or pulling on a frequent basis.
  • Endurance for continuous and fast-paced work activities.
  • Adherence to necessary safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed footwear, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
