Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This full-time role operates 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday with potential weekends, supporting the Surgical Services materials management team on-site.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of OR Materials Management experience, strong Excel skills, and a background in warehousing and customer service to ensure timely supply and equipment availability for patient care.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Operating Room Materials Management experience preferred.
• Experience with materials management supply chain is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Materials Management operations and Surgical Services supply chain support.
• Procure supplies, equipment, and services for Surgical Services via electronic methods.
• Warehousing of supplies under control of inventory system.
• Provide excellent customer service by meeting daily needs and expediting orders for on-time delivery.
• Perform scale audits, sample counting, and expiration management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Baptist Health is looking to add an Inventory Control Coordinator to Materials Management team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full-time Days opportunity working 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with potential for weekends.

This position will work closely with licensed healthcare professionals and impacts their ability to care for patients daily. The ideal candidate will have warehousing, customer service, and leadership experience and be comfortable utilizing Microsoft Excel.

As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the day to day Materials Management operations and Supply Chain Management in support of the Surgical Services department.
• Procuring supplies, equipment, and services for Surgical Services utilizing various electronic methods.
• Warehousing of supplies.
• Fostering excellent customer service by ensuring the customer's daily needs is met with all request for orders placed and expedited for on time delivery.
• Performing scale audits, sample counting, and expiration management.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 Years Operating Room Materials Management Experience -Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED - Required
• Associates of Arts/Sciences - Preferred
