Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage field/distributor inventory, monitor systems, and maintain accurate reconciliations to protect assets and enhance customer satisfaction.

You will use SMS, ZSIS and DCS to loan, receive, ship and report inventory, run regular reports, and support cross-functional teams including sales and operations.

The ideal candidate has MS Excel skills, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent or higher.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with Inventory Control practices and data analysis preferred.
• Frequent lifting required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Use inventory systems such as SMS, ZSIS, DCS to loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor inventory.
• Investigate variances and discrepancies; coordinate root-cause analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate returns/exchanges of expired or calibrated products between warehouse and field.
• Generate regular weekly/monthly reports and reconcile missing/late inventory reports.
• Assist with termination of distributor inventory accounts.
• Monitor asset placement and recovery; collaborate with sales and operations.
• Log inventory outflow and conduct cycle counts in offices and accounts.
• Ensure compliance with FDA QSR and ISO standards.
