Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate material flow across departments. This role supports purchasing, production, and management with timely reports and corrective actions to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in warehousing within manufacturing, hands-on ERP experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 3–5 years’ work experience in warehousing within manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Must have the ability to wear all required PPE.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend and twist for 10 hours a day.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies or errors and make corrections.
• Ensure sufficient stock to meet operational needs and customer demand while minimizing overstocking and waste.
• Communicate with purchasing, production, and other internal departments to coordinate material flow and manage schedules.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory status, transactions, and operational results for management, often making recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to maintain inventory.
