Job summary

Cox is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to manage location tracker inventory, reconcile billing invoices, and oversee the return of defective trackers. You will monitor vehicle inventory levels, review analytics dashboards, and coordinate corrective actions with leadership and the Global Inventory Control Manager.

You will communicate status to leadership, champion process improvements, and train impacted departments on Lot Vision processes.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Safe driver's needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Microsoft office computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for location's tracker inventory and reconciliation of billing invoices.
  • Manages retrieval of trackers that require further attention (RFA) and determines corrective action.
  • Responsible for returning defective trackers to Cox2M, ensuring user interface and billing reflects returns and new orders.
  • Monitor vehicle inventory volume and coordinate with Management and GCM to manage inventory levels.
  • Review and comprehend the inventory analytics dashboard and adherence to project metrics.
  • Communicate status to Leadership and Global Inventory Control Manager (GCM); identify opportunities to achieve lot operations goals.
  • Monitor to prevent leakage (<2) with team(s).
  • Build and sustain relationships with lot operations teams; act as central contact for tracker inventory.
  • Promote and champion identified change, project adoption, and continuous improvement across units.
  • Deliver training developed by Lot Vision Program Team to impacted departments.
  • Enforce adoption of project standards, procedures, best practices, and metrics.
  • Support Lot Vision program by participating in ICC calls.
  • Focus on continuing education to support advancement of the program.
  • Assist with Lot Vision deployments and support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

  • Monitor vehicle inventory volume and fluctuations to proactively anticipate spikes or changes in inventory levels and coordinate with Management and GCM to manage inventory levels, accordingly.
  • Ability to review and comprehend the inventory analytics dashboard and adherence to project metrics.
  • Proactively communicates status to Leadership and Global Inventory Control Manager (GCM); identifies opportunities to enable location to achieve / exceed lot operations goals.
  • Proactively monitors and works with team(s) to address issues to prevent leakage (<2)
  • Builds and sustains relationships with lot operations teams and serves as the central point of contact regarding tracker inventory.
  • Enthusiastically promotes, communicates, and champions identified change, project adoption, and continuous improvement across operating units.
  • Delivers training developed by Lot Vision Program Team to impacted departments on processes and procedures.
  • Enforces adoption of project standards, operating procedures, best practices, and metrics.
  • Supports Lot Vision program by actively participating in ICC calls (share best practices, etc.).
  • Focuses on continuing education to support the advancement of the program.

Work Environment

USD 16.63 - 24.90 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
