Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Job Purpose:
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining high inventory accuracy within the Tissue Bank, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and AATB standards. Promotes Lean behaviors across the organization, including participating in Try Storming, Brainstorming, and Lean initiatives. Must be resourceful, able to meet deadlines, and multitask effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Inventory Control Area as described in SOPs.
- Maintain accurate inventory of post-processing and quarantine products (frozen and room temperature).
- Perform disposition of nonconforming products as directed.
- Manage data entry and paperwork for tissue documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of Tissue Bank Manuals and applicable regulations.
- Perform duties under supervision as needed.
- Stage tissues for sterilization and receive tissue from sterilization/irradiation.
- Manage receipt of donors/tissues for processing.
- Schedule, send, and receive tissue for sterilization/irradiation, monitoring freezers and responding to alarms in Tutela System.
- Create daily reports to monitor inventory and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate efforts across departments to improve inventory accuracy.
- Reconcile tissue inventory and transfer released products for distribution.
- Discard donors/tissues as instructed per SOP/WI.
- Ensure proper documentation for tissue transfers.
- Maintain housekeeping practices in work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience, or
- Associate degree with at least 1 year relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years relevant experience.

- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Working Conditions:
Primarily indoors, standing and walking throughout the facility. Occasional warehouse work. Weekend shifts may be required, with schedule alternating among staff. 'On Call' duties may be assigned as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs., operate hand trucks and pallet jacks (manual and automatic).
