Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Katy, TX, is seeking an Inventory Control professional to support purchasing queues, coordinate with receiving and vendors, and manage bin locations for accurate stocking. This role is based in a combined office and warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• College degree in Industrial Distribution, Business Management and/or equivalent industry experience preferred but not required.
• Detail oriented with excellent communication and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Basic inventory/purchasing knowledge including procurement points, demand and stock concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in clearing Eclipse queues associated with purchasing
• Work closely with receiving department and vendors to solve discrepancies
• Research and assist with processing stock returns
• Update new items for bin locations
• Assist with monitoring non-stock inventory items
• Assist with managing bin locations and changes
