Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator (Shipping / Receiving Clerk) for our Orange City, IA facility. This Full Time, first shift role supports production by replenishing departments and ensuring materials are available to keep the workflow uninterrupted.

You will use 5S principles, retrieve components, kit according to work instructions, update computer records, and coordinate with other departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community.
• Ability to comprehend written instructions and follow demonstrated steps.
• Basic math skills.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• One year of directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in warehousing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize 5S principles to maintain departmental flow and cleanliness; ensure correct parts are received, shipped, and produced per schedule.
• Retrieve components and materials using mobile carts; kit according to work instructions and match job numbers to kits; move kits/materials to appropriate areas.
• Update part completion in the computer; may package parts and place parts in oven or warm room.
• Keep production operators supplied by maintaining carts with general supplies.
• Communicate with operators in other departments to obtain and deliver supplies and materials.
