Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to organize and maintain inventory. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and be detail oriented.

The role involves physical kitting, MRP entries, and managing shelf life items, with responsibility for shipping/receiving backups. Onsite work in Massachusetts with standard M-F hours and generous benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short memos, and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to read prints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical kitting of components for mechanical assemblies.
• Make MRP entries to allocate materials used in production.
• Manage shelf life items (adhesives, paints, etc.).
• Oversee MRP and physical inventory of fixtures for CNC Machining, CMM Inspection, and Assembly.
• Lead routine inventory counts and annual full inventory process.
• Identify gaps in inventory processes and address them.
• Use devices to photograph required packaging for WIP and finished parts.
• Back up creation of shipping documents and shipping/receiving duties.

Cadrex is searching for an Inventory Coordinator who will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our inventory. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and be detail oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical kitting of components for mechanical assemblies
• Perform MRP entries to allocate materials and components used in the production of subparts and assemblies including:
• Raw Materials - Purchased hardware, Cadrex Southampton produced subparts, consigned materials
• Manage all Shelf Life Items (ie adhesives, paints, etc.)
• Manage MRP and physical inventory of fixtures used for CNC Machining, CMM Inspection, and Assembly
• Lead and participate in routine inventory counts and annual full inventory process
• Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes and results
• Use assigned devices to take and save pictures of required packaging for WIP and finished parts
• Serve as primary backup for creation of shipping documents
• Serve as a primary backup for the shipping /receiving area

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years’ related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders
• Attention to detail and quality
