Job summary

Cadrex is seeking an Inventory Coordinator in Agawam, MA to organize and maintain inventory, perform kitting for assemblies, and support MRP entries. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

You will manage shelf‑life items, assist shipping/receiving, participate in cycle counts, and help ensure accurate part availability. This onsite, M‑F role offers full benefits and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing/inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and prints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical kitting of components for mechanical assemblies.
• Enter and manage MRP data to allocate materials for subparts and assemblies.
• Manage shelf life items (adhesives, paints, etc.).
• Conduct inventory counts and support annual full inventory process.
• Assist shipping/receiving and create shipping documents as needed.

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for an Inventory Coordinator who will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our inventory. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and be detail oriented.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform physical kitting of components for mechanical assemblies
• Perform MRP entries to allocate materials and components used in the production of subparts and assemblies including:
• Raw Materials - Purchased hardware, Cadrex Southampton produced subparts, consigned materials
• Manage all Shelf Life Items (ie adhesives, paints, etc.)
• Manage MRP and physical inventory of fixtures used for CNC Machining, CMM Inspection, and Assembly
• Lead and participate in routine inventory counts and annual full inventory process
• Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes and results
• Use assigned devices to take and save pictures of required packaging for WIP and finished parts
• Serve as primary backup for creation of shipping documents
• Serve as a primary backup for the shipping /receiving area

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years’ related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders
• Attention to detail and quality
