Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control Coordinator on 1st shift. The role involves cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, audits, and supporting inbound/outbound activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years warehouse experience, proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of SAP inventory and Topex. Forklift experience is a plus. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
1-3 years warehouse experience; preferably with barcode system.
Working experience with cycle count and inventory control.
Knowledge of inventory systems and/or Topex.
Working knowledge of SAP inventory.

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts, inventory validations, inventory adjustments, location audits, serial audits, discrepancy resolution, inventory consolidation, and support inbound/outbound inventory activities to maintain accuracy.
Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

Performing cycle counts, inventory validations, inventory adjustments, location audits, serial audits, discrepancy resolution, inventory consolidation, and supporting inbound and outbound inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy throughout the operation.

Position: 1st shift Inventory Control Coordinator
Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday
Pay: $21 an hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

Prior inventory control, inventory management, or warehouse experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic reporting functions.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Ability to maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with associates, leadership, customers, and suppliers.
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Forklift certification or previous material handling equipment experience is a plus but not required.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse responsibilities throughout the shift.

Role Purpose

Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.

Key Accountabilities

Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.
