Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Coordinator. The role is primarily on the warehouse floor with responsibilities spanning inventory verification, data reconciliation, and cross-department coordination.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of warehousing experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on use of WMS/SAP. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and/or Topex; SAP inventory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of an inventory control coordinator.

• Position: Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Coordinator
• Shift: Monday to Thursday - 4:00PM to 2:00AM
• Pay: $22.90 per hour. + $1.00 shift differential

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal will also have the following skills: Supply Chain, Auditing, Shipping, Logistics.

A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

• Prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for assigned department including cycle counting and also adjustments.
• Coordinating tasks and schedules across all departments, including inbounds, Inventory Control.
• Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• Microsoft Office software, including Excel is required.
• This is a hands-on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose

Physically reconcile/verify raw and finished good inventory of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL (half of the time is spent on compiling/analyzing reports and the other half completing the physical inventory). Is an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution; this is key for accurate cycle count, auditing and financial reporting. Assigns work schedules, trains associates and monitor’s associates’ progress.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform the duties of an inventory control coordinator.
• Reconciliation and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
• Monitoring and keying data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor IDOC (failed transactions) in SAP and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Physically investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.
• Conduct training for new associates.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.

Required Education and Experience

• Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory
