Job summary

  • Review inventory (raw goods), identify errors, and direct corrections with follow-up.
  • Support improvements in inventory accuracy and plant-wide processes.
  • Generate required month-end reporting.
  • Manage and direct physical inventories as needed.
  • Ensure inventory is reported to customers as requested.

Job description

What We’re Searching For

Hood Container is seeking a data driven and change minded Inventory Coordinator for our Walker, MI plant. They will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting optimal warehouse operations. Strong organizational, teamwork, and self‑starter skills will lead you to success in this role.

How You Will Contribute
  • Manage all inventory transactions, troubleshoot errors and identify root causes and supply and implement possible solutions to Management team.
  • Review all inventory including raw goods, identify errors, and direct /follow up on corrections needed.
  • Support improvements in accuracy and efficiency in all plant‑wide inventory processes.
  • Accurately generate required month‑end reporting.
  • Manage and direct physical inventories as needed.
  • Ensure all inventory is reported to customers as requested.
  • Review and manage aged and obsolete inventory monthly with scheduler and process disposals.
  • Support Management with all audits.
