Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in the United States. The role focuses on inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and reporting discrepancies, with responsibility to mentor associates and support shift supervision. Strong math and detail orientation required.

Position is first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with a pay rate of $22.55 per hour. Candidates should have 1–3 years warehousing experience and familiarity with SAP/Topex systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and Topex.
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and data entry into customer's system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using Excel.
• Monitor SAP in-transit buckets for finance reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports.
• Monitor failed transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

The core responsibilities of this role include operating an Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Dock Stocker, all of which are required skills. The position also requires a minimum of one year of experience in cycle counting, identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, and monitoring inventory levels. Additional duties include assisting with damage reporting and cleanup, as well as verifying overages and shortages on inbound shipments. Strong math skills and excellent attention to detail are essential. A leadership mindset is also required for success in this role.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker is required, Minimum of 1 year experience in cycle counting, reporting inventory discrepancies, and monitoring inventory levels, assist with reporting/cleanup of damages and verifying over/short inbounds, report directly to Inventory Manager, assist with the Shift Supervisors with monitoring production, training to the associates and giving constructive feedback and to ensure highest customer standards are met. Must be able to manage timelines and productivity expectations, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, perform additional duties as assigned.

Role Purpose

Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.

Key Accountabilities

• Reconcile and data entry into customer's system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
• Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
• Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory
