Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply is seeking an Inventory Control professional to support purchasing, receiving, and stock management across our warehouse network. You will help maintain accurate bin locations and assist with stock returns while collaborating with vendors and the receiving team.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to grow within a leading electrical distributor that is part of the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• College degree in Industrial Distribution, Business Management or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and time management.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to multi-task.
• Basic inventory/purchasing knowledge including procurement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in clearing Eclipse queues related to purchasing.
• Work with receiving and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Research and assist with processing stock returns.
• Update new items for bin locations.
• Assist with monitoring non-stock inventory items.
• Help manage bin locations and changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in clearing Eclipse queues associated with purchasing
• Work closely with receiving department and vendors to solve discrepancies
• Research and assist with processing stock returns
• Update new items for bin locations
• Assist with monitoring non-stock inventory items
• Assist with managing bin locations and changes

Qualifications

• A college degree in Industrial Distribution, Business Management and/or equivalent industry experience is preferred but not required
• Detail oriented with excellent communication and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Basic inventory/purchasing knowledge including procurement – order points, line points, demand, safety stock, excess and dead stock.
• Typical environment includes offices and warehouse.
• Light to moderate noise level.
• While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
