Job summary

DCL Logistics is a modern 3PL and technology-driven company headquartered in Silicon Valley. We seek an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain 100% inventory accuracy and flawless shipping support across our national network.

You will perform cycle counts, audits, and system adjustments while ensuring data integrity and timely reporting. Ideal candidates have at least two years of inventory control experience in logistics, proficiency with WMS and RF scanners, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of Inventory Control experience in a logistics/warehouse setting.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• High School diploma or GED required; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and location audits; reconcile variances.
• Monitor database integrity for inventory data and make necessary adjustments.
• Generate Work Orders supply reports and shortages/backlog reports; notify departments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and DCL Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate all material transfers and related documentation; apply hold tags as required.

You join a familyThe Inventory Control Coordinator under moderate supervision will support in maintaining our customer’s inventory levels with the goal of an inventory accuracy rate of 100% to flawlessly support our shipping requirements and expectations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Understand the basic flow of product movements within the warehouse and how these movements reflect in the WMS, and JD Edwards.Perform and schedule cycle count and location audits and perform all necessary adjustments in the system.When variances exist, reconcile inventory variances, and perform deep forensics on possible reasons and provide comprehensive explanations.Monitor, maintain and update and database integrity as it pertains to inventory.As it relates to Production/Assembly, check work orders and the work order routing maintenance to ensure materials are issued. Generate Work Orders Supply Report and monitor closely to ensure that the work orders are closed once the product is built. Generate Work Order Shortage Report, notifying the appropriate department if the materials are available to build the product or if product needs to be re-ordered.As it relates to Distribution, Generate Sales Order Backlog Report and monitor closely to ensure that the sales orders are closed once products/materials are shipped.For rejected material, ensure use of hold tags and compliance to the hold process as well as perform any necessary system adjustments.DCL Box Consumables Bi-Monthly cycle counts and deductions.Ability to edit Table and Mis-Match daily management.WO Mis-Match audits and system verification.Cycle Count daily, weekly, and monthly lot/expiration audits.Serial numbers capturingCoordinate all material transfers.Assure compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and adhere to the DCL Code of Conduct.Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned by department supervisor.SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be computer literate and be proficient in Microsoft Office Systems and Email.Must be able to push/pull/lift 50-75 lbs. at a time when necessary.Must be able to work in a warehouse environment where temperature is affected by weather conditions.Ability to operate a stock picker in a safe manner, following all safety procedures.Ability to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time.Must have good manual dexterity and able to do repetitive hand motions.Must have excellent Organizational Skills and good numerical checking and editing skills.Must Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills.Must have Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.EDUCATION END EXPERIENCE:Must have Leadership experience in a Logistics/Warehouse environment.Must have at least two (2) years of Inventory Control Experience in a Logistics/Warehouse environment.Must have experience performing a Year-End Physical Inventory for a company/account.Must have experience working with Warehouse Management Systems.Must have FEFO, FIFO, and LIFO knowledge/experience.Must have RF Scanner Experience.Must have Stock Picker, Stand-up Reach, and Sit-Down Forklift experience. Turret experience is a plus.Academic requirements (minimum): High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent
