Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Augusta, ME. The role focuses on accuracy in cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, and proper stock rotation in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.

Responsibilities include reviewing shelf life, restocking returns, and ensuring compliance with FIFO/FEFO. Pre-employment drug testing and a Tuesday–Friday schedule with Saturday hours are part of the role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts to verify physical and computer inventory.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies; make necessary adjustments.
• Restock customer returns and review shelf life for FIFO/FEFO.
• Adjust for damaged products and determine disposition.
• Review expiration dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Complete other assigned inventory tasks as needed.

Inventory Control Coordinator duties:

The Inventory Control Coordinator position will perform the following duties:

• Complete cycle counts to verify physical and computer inventory matches.
• Research & resolve inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
• Re-stock customer returns.
• Review and make adjustments daily on damaged product and decide disposition.
• Review shelf life for expiration dates to ensure FIFO/FEFO.
• Complete all other assigned task.

Pre-employment drug testing, including testing for marijuana required.

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday (9am until finish); Saturday (8am - 4pm)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• High attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office & Outlook
• Works well independently or with others
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to work in freezer, cooler and dry

Preferred qualifications:

• Complete cycle counts to verify physical and computer inventory matches
• Work on HACCP Team
• Experience with Recalls
• Experience working with Federal and State inspectors
• Ability to research & resolve inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments
• Experience with perishable items
• Ability to complete all other assigned tasks
