Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk for our North Little Rock, AR location. This role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, updating the WMS, and coordinating with checkers to ensure precise receipts. Forklift certification may be required, and training will be provided.

The team emphasizes safety and accuracy in a warehouse setting. The position offers a $21 base rate with a $2 shift differential, working Friday to Sunday from 9:00am to 9:30pm, and access to benefits including PTO,

Qualifications

• Follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Previous inventory experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
• Knowledge of computers; ability to learn WMS and internal applications.
• Must use handheld computers / scanners.
• Operate material handling equipment; occasional warehouse movement.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is required.
• Willingness to travel and pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system count matches physical inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Update WMS to match physical inventory; document root causes.
• Possess forklift certification (training provided) and operate equipment as needed.
• Receive inventory accurately and collaborate with checkers for correct receipts.
• Audit inbound receipts and domestically induct cross-dock inventory.
• Produce daily/weekly reports and assist in special projects.

Position Details

Friday to Sunday 9:00am-9:30pm

• $21.00 base rate + $2.00 shift differential

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring system count matches physical inventory
• Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level
• Ability to be certified on the forklift equipment (training will be provided)
• Look for missing product in storage locations
• Update WMS to match physical through various methods
• Research and document root cause
• Ensuring proper rotation of product
• Analyze reports to identify rotation issues
• Ensure rotation physically moved as required
• Research and document root cause
• Accurately receive inventory
• Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory
• Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentations
• Accurately induct x-dock into inventory
• Data setup and validation
• Accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications
• Audit existing data for inaccurate data
• Manage unsalable inventory to resolution
• Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required.
• Work with procurement on product expiration and product holds to final resolution
• Accurately record dump / donate and other product dispositions
• Ensure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution center
• Process analysis and documentation
• Work with inventory management to document and train inventory procedures to warehouse operations
• Assist with daily and weekly reports
• Assist in development and implementation of special projects and tasks
• All other tasks as assigned

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
