Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle inventory, material picking, and tool crib duties in a fast-paced facility. You will learn product locations, move raw materials, and support production with timely deliveries.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and familiarity with warehouse systems. A forklift background and Prism experience are valued in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; and at least one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, self-starter, ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Previous warehouse management system experience (AS400, SAP, Prism, etc.).
• Previous stock picker and sit-down forklift experience and be able to operate a forklift safely.

Job description

WORK SHIFT: First Shift (United States of America)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Learn products and the location of the inventory within the facility.
• Put away raw material in receiving location to rack locations.
• Pick and deliver raw material to production areas.
• Pick and issue raw material/tools within the Tool Crib.
• Complete all necessary Prism transactions.
• Maintain vehicle properly and furnish vehicle operation report attached to MOS documents.
• Report and record damage to product, and/or Cambro property.
• Load and unload IPT trailers by hand or by use of a hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, or dolly.
• Pad, stack, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipments.
• Assist receiving with various functions performed in that area.
• Report out-of-stock items to Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance (punctual, dependable).
• Execute each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear PPE, attend safety meetings, report safety issues.
• Work effectively as a team member, treat everyone with respect, and communicate status of work/projects.
• Follow all department quality standards/criteria, raise concerns to immediate manager.
• Understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture; display core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, Service).
• Understand departmental key performance indicators and contribute to achieve these goals.
• Other duties as needed or required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work overtime as needed, remain flexible to possible schedule changes to meet business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED; and at least one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, self‑starter, ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Previous warehouse management system experience (AS400, SAP, Prism, etc.).
• Previous stock picker and sit‑down forklift experience and be able to operate a forklift safely.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Forklift certified.
• Experience with Prism, Intermec, and/or AS400 system.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sitting, walking, standing, bending at the neck, bending at the waist, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting at the neck and waist.
• Repetitive use of hands, simple grasping, pushing and pulling, reaching above and below the shoulder.
• Carrying/lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Driving cars, trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Working around equipment and machinery.
• Exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals.
• Working at heights.
• Use of special visual or auditory protective equipment.
• Operation of foot controls or repetitive foot movement.
• PPE.

COMPENSATION RANGE

$18.04 - $19.50 per hour. Salary may vary based on experience.
