US Foods in Marrero, LA is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to help maintain inventory accuracy and product quality in our distribution center. You will perform essential clerical and inventory control tasks to ensure efficient shipping and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory control practices and HACCP preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk, with lifting up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Compile records from ordering, shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder requirements.
• Prepare and verify inventory replenishment requests.
• Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and quality control procedures.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory documentation and filing systems.
• Communicate inventory concerns with warehouse leadership and purchasing teams.
• Perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
