Shearer’s Foods, Inc. in Massillon, OH is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for the afternoon shift (Tuesday through Saturday).

The role supports receiving, inventory control, and other warehouse duties to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include researching discrepancies, locating and correcting errors, loading/unloading orders, and providing current inventory snapshots.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of RedPrairie or comparable WMS
• Working knowledge of Mapics or comparable ERP
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Forklift equipment certified
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced automated environment

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Inventory Control Clerk

Afternoon Shift Tuesday to Saturday

Hourly Rate $23.25 + $1 shift differential

The Warehouse Inventory Control Clerks provide experience in receiving, inventory control and other warehouse duties.

• Research and Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Investigate locations in error and ensuring proper allocation of product
• Load and unload inbound/outbound orders
• Provide current inventory snapshots per customer requirements and requests
• Cycle count and update inventory daily

Qualifications

Knowledge and Work Experience:

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of RedPrairie or comparable WMS
• Working knowledge of Mapics or comparable ERP
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Certified on various types of Power Industrial Truck Forklift equipment
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced automated environment

Pay Range

Salary Range: USD $23.25/Hr. - USD $24.25/Hr.
