Shearer’s Foods, a Massillon, OH-based manufacturer, is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation and warehouse duties. The role offers midnight and afternoon shifts with differential pay and an hourly rate of $21.50.

Qualifications

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Working knowledge of RedPrairie or comparable WMS.
• Working knowledge of Mapics or comparable ERP.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions.
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Certified on various types of Power Industrial Truck Forklift equipment.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced automated environment.
• WMS/ERP Experience Required.

Responsibilities

Inventory Control Specialist (Cycle Count & Inventory Reconciliation)

Midnights 1030pm to 7am + $2 shift differential

Afternoons 230pm to 11pm + $1 shift differential

Hourly Rate $21.50

The Inventory Control Clerks provide experience in receiving, inventory control and other warehouse duties.

• Research and Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Investigate locations in error and ensuring proper allocation of product
• Load and unload inbound/outbound orders
• Provide current inventory snapshots per customer requirements and requests
• Cycle count and update inventory daily

Qualifications

Knowledge and Work Experience:

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
