Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk to ensure timely, accurate processing of materials and documentation in the warehouse management system. You will maintain records, verify data, and ensure safety, quality, and operational standards across inventory processes.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with teams to support year-end inventory activities and Kaizen improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data handling.
• Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and report building.
• Ability to follow standardized processes and quality procedures.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience in a quality, clerical, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard work procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory counts to company standards.
• Maintain and organize documentation, including filing and archiving records.
• Verify data accuracy and support inventory processes within assigned areas.
• Report all deviations, discrepancies, or damages immediately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen activities.
• Maintain 5S standards within assigned work areas.
• Follow emergency procedures and protocols as required.
• Support inventory processes, including year-end inventory activities.
