Job summary

Ingram Content Group in Jackson, TN is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support our Distribution team. You will perform daily cycle counts, verify titles and quantities in the RF system, and help locate and consolidate misplaced stock.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and process improvements in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a start time around 6:00 AM and a 2:30 PM finish. Ingram offers competitive pay and a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year work experience in at least one previous job.
• 6 months of work experience involving walking, lifting, standing, and manual handling.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts using RF terminal.
• Verify location and ISBN line by line in RF; flag discrepancies.
• Consolidate misplaced product to one location.
• Research titles on slash report to determine stock status.
• Validate discrepancies from cycle counts and adjustments.
• Work Empty Reports for Overflow and Forward Pick areas.
• Perform cycle counts on Over Ships and Possible Gains reports.

What You'll Need:

• 1 year work experience in at least one previous job
• 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard
• Prefer forklift experience but not required

What You'll Do:

• Perform daily cycle counts such as Force/Counts, Problem Titles, and randomly selected titles and enterquantity into RF (Radio Frequency) terminal.
• Performline by line verification by scanning location and ISBN into RF terminal to verify correct title, ISBN, quantity, and price; typein appropriate indicator to flag and identify area of discrepancy; enterfound product information into RF as necessary once line by line transaction is complete.
• Verifypreviously identified discrepancies (ISBN numbers, Found products) as listed on the Found Product Report and Line by Line report and consolidatemisplaced product into one location.
• Researchtitles on slash report to determine if stock was depleted or overlooked due to inaccurate location code or error.
• Validatediscrepancies from previous cycle counts and lost and found adjustments as indicated on the inventory Adjustment Reconciliation Report.
• WorkEmpty Reports for both Overflow and Forward Pick areas to verify that the title is not in either location.
• Performcycle counts on over Ships and Possible Gains Reports to verify the inventory discrepancies they indicate.
