Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk to support the Stockbridge, GA warehouse. You will maintain inventory accuracy, verify inbound/outbound orders, and ensure proper data in the warehouse management system.

The role requires basic warehousing experience, daily inventory procedures, and the ability to adjust inventory records. Forklift certification or training within 30 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have order picker experience.
• High Reach Truck experience preferred.
• Strong inventory experience including adjustments and damaged products; strong WMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records and accuracy in the warehouse management system.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system records as needed.
• Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, or damaged products.
• Perform routine clerical tasks such as filing invoices and maintaining records.

Position: 1st Shift Inventory Control Clerk
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30PM [Monday-Friday]
Pay: $19.75 per hour

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
