Monitor, order, stock, and transport supplies and/or equipment. Ensure timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed. Investigate and troubleshoot inventory issues/problems. Maintain accurate tracking records for inventory. Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED required at date of hire. Additional training beyond high school (i.e., CSCP, LEAN, Six Sigma certification, bachelor's degree) preferred. Work Experience: Previous experience working with any of the following: shipping, receiving, picking, logistics, distribution, purchasing, warehousing, inventory management, contracting, vendor management required. One year experience preferred. Additional Preferences This is an Entry level position Responsibilities for Inventory Clerk: Tracking incoming and outgoing products from the storeroom Re-Stocking nursing units Updating database with incoming and outgoing products Loading and unloading deliveries Maintain safety while using equipment (pallet jack) Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed Notify Inventory Manager with shortages and inconsistencies Operate equipment according to training provided Qualifications for Supply Aide 2 years of previous work experience in related area (warehouse/inventory) strongly preferred. Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to proficiently use a computer and other office technology Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment Able to walk pulling a cart up to 600 lbs. for long periods of time Able to walk up to an average of 20-25,000 steps a shift Good communication skills Able to reconcile inventory Must be able to read inventory lists Must be able to match the correct product with the corresponding labels and barcodes Attention to detail to identify defective products on the nursing units Able to sustain many interruptions and stay on task with accuracy and time managment responses Excellent customer service skills, detail oriented, eager, and willing to learn.
