Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in Whiteland, IN for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4:30pm-12:30am). The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring inbound/outbound orders are correctly entered in the warehouse system.

Required: at least 6 months of inventory control experience (cycle counts, discrepancies, receiving, stock monitoring) and 6 months with a WMS or similar systems (JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP). Shift diff adds $1.00/hour to base pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training within 30 days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Position: Inventory Control Clerk. Shift: Second (2nd) Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 12:30am. Pay: $20.50 PLUS $1.00 Shift Differential.

• REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 1 years’ experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
• At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
