Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control Clerk in Indiana. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, processing inbound/outbound orders, and ensuring system entries reflect actual stock levels.

Shift is Mon- Thurs 3p-1a with pay of $20.50 plus $1 shift diff. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year operating Order Picker/Reach Truck/Dock Stocker, 6 months in inventory control, and 6 months with a WMS (or similar systems like JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP).

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Inventory Control including cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
• At least 6 months experience with a WMS or similar systems (JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including filing invoices and maintaining records.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 1 years’ experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
• At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
