Job summary

Talentify in Memphis, TN is seeking a Second shift Inventory Control Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy and manage inbound/outbound orders in a warehouse environment.

The role requires experience with Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, and dock stocker, plus 6 months in inventory control and 6 months with a WMS. Shift is 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed; pay is $20.35/hr plus $1.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift training within 30 days, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Position: Second (2nd) shift Inventory Control Clerk
Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Overtime required as needed)
Pay: $20.35 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills and/or experience:

• A MINIMUM of 1 years' experience operating Cherry picker, Reach Truck, and stand-up Dock Stocker.
• A MINIMUM of 6 months' experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
• At least 6 months' experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as Manhattan, JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
