Job summary

Lineage is seeking a material handler at our La Porte, CA site to check and record materials moved to and from the facility, stock received items, and fulfill customer orders while following safety standards and company procedures.

You will verify deliveries, may write tickets with quantity, material type, truck number and location, report amounts transported, record received and distributed items, and assist in preparing stock for assembly.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in English or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Basic computer skills may be required.
• Must be able to work in cold or hot storage environments and wear provided PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Check and record materials moved to and from the site.
• Stock received items and fill customer orders.
• Verify load quantities and material type.
• Write tickets with quantity, material type, truck number, and location when required.
• Report amounts of materials transported and record received/distributed items.
• Weigh or count items to ensure standards are met.
• Arrange stock for assembly by other workers.
• Process inbound/outbound orders safely and accurately.
