Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Ohio seeks a full-time Manufacturing Inventory Control Associate for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thur 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM) in the Warehouse, with a starting rate of $23 per hour and a 10% shift premium.

Responsibilities include handling inventory transactions, creating kits from BOMs, ensuring BOM accuracy, and supporting ERP/MRP processes. A high school diploma or 1 year related experience is required; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, or 1 year of related experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.
  • Experience with inventory control, BOMs and MRP concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inventory transactions and move parts from stock to WIP.
  • Create kits and supply quantities per BOM for various operations.
  • Count reels after use to ensure inventory accuracy and support BOM accuracy.
  • Maintain BOM accuracy and process ECNs; support process optimization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; use PowerPoint and Word as needed.
  • Self-manage tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments.

We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time Manufacturing Inventory Control Associate. This is a 3rd Shift role (Sun-Thur 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM), in the Warehouse with a starting rate of $23 per hour with a 10% shift premium.

Job Summary:

Handles inventory transactions; moves parts from stock into WIP locations. Creates kits and provides necessary quantities for all components based off of Bill of Materials for surface mount, loads feeders, and through holes operations. Counts quantities on reels after used on production lines to ensure inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Understanding of production processes and material flow.
  • Support product phase‑in/phase‑out and minimizing excess/obsolete inventory.
  • Accept change and manage varied assignments.
  • Familiarity with maintaining BOM accuracy and processing ECNs.
  • Understanding of MRP concepts and processes.
  • Support process optimization and efficiency initiatives.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Self‑direct, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 1 year of verified related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
