Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Ladysmith, WI is hiring a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping, receiving, stocking and distribution of materials on a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm) on site. You will unpack, verify against PO/invoices, log goods, operate forklifts, and prepare packages for final shipment, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and legal authorization to work in the U.S. No visa sponsorship.

Job Description

You will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work onsite in Ladysmith, WI. This is a 1st shift position, M-F working hours 6:00am-2:30pm.

Your Responsibilities

• Use tools and equipment including hammers, cutters for wood, cardboard and plastics, forklifts and other motorized equipment.

The Essentials - You Will Have

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
