Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts and equipment on site. You will follow work instructions, use forklift, and maintain accurate records of goods received and shipped.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail and ability to lift heavy items. You will also support production by delivering materials and assisting with inventory control, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Typically requires 4+ years of related warehouse experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 6:30am -2:30pm with occasional overtime.

You will work full time on site in Twinsburg, OH reporting to the Warehouse supervisor.

Job Description Summary

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Your Responsibilities

• Use documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems for receiving parts.
• Assignments and processes are semi-routine in nature.
• Operate powered Industrial Vehicles to load, unload and transfer materials.
• Assemble product, deliver material to the production area, pick up waste, and deliver finished product on a scheduled basis following a set route.
• May also assist with changeover, provide tools and materials, and give any additional help needed to maintain standard work and keep the flow going.

The Essentials - You Will Have

• A minimum of High School Diploma/GED
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
