Job summary

syncreon by DP World seeks a Material Control Analyst to support inventory management, tracking, and control within our Georgia operation. You will monitor transactions, investigate discrepancies, and partner with Operations, Procurement, Maintenance to ensure materials are available and records are accurate.

You will work with WMS and ERP systems, analyze data to improve inventory accuracy, reduce shortages, and drive process improvements across Palmetto, Union City, and Fairburn facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain management, Logistics, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with WMS/ERP and other logistics systems.
• Strong Excel skills including pivots and lookups for data reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, transactions, adjustments, transfers, receipts, shipments, and cycle counts across facilities.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and identify root causes of shortages, overages, mislocations, and variances.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and develop corrective actions to reduce recurring discrepancies.
• Partner with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely transactions.
• Support cycle count programs, physical inventories, reconciliations, and audits.
• Monitor activity across Palmetto, Union City, and Fairburn locations and identify trends or concerns.
