Job summary

Integration Automation Systems is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support end-to-end flow of raw materials in a manufacturing environment. The role covers receiving, inventory control, and shipping duties across multiple manufacturing cells.

Responsibilities include unloading materials, verifying against PO, routing parts to correct bins, issuing BOM-based kits, and managing serialized components within ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience with warehouse receiving and material handling is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP/inventory systems for tracking components is a plus.
  • Ability to read and verify purchase orders and BOMs may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Unload raw materials and components using appropriate equipment.
  • Route received parts to manufacturing cells or inventory bins.
  • Issue parts kits to assembly technicians based on BOMs.
  • Track serialized components and high-value items in the ERP system.
  • Perform routine cycle counts of high-turnover items.
  • Prepare crates, crates or pallets for shipping and secure with protective wrap.

We are seeking a detail-oriented person to assist in the end-to-end flow of raw materials in a manufacturing environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving & Material Handling

  • Unloading raw materials (steel, assembly components, electronics) using forklifts, overhead cranes, or pallet jacks.
  • Checking received components against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Routing incoming parts directly to specific manufacturing cells or designated inventory bins.

Inventory Control & Production Support

  • Issuing parts kits to assembly technicians based on engineering bills of materials (BOM).
  • Tracking serialized components and expensive custom machinery parts within the ERP/inventory system.
  • Performing routine cycle counts on high-turnover hardware and manufacturing consumables.

Crating & Industrial Shipping

  • Building custom wooden crates or pallets to safely secure large, heavy machinery for transport.
  • Applying protective coatings, shrink wrap, and tie-downs to prevent damage from moisture or shifting during transit.
  • Preparing freight documentation including domestic Bills of Lading (BOL), international commercial invoices, and related paperwork.
