Job summary

Nordson Product Assembly is seeking an Inventory Control Associate 1 to manage receiving, stocking, loading/unloading, and material movements. The role supports inbound/outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, and data maintenance in SAP while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in inventory related functions, a high school diploma or GED (some college preferred), and strong attention to detail with good math and communication

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in inventory control, materials, production, or cost accounting environment.
• Cycle count and record reconciliation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors count completeness reports; identify materials to be counted; helps ensure 100% count completeness.
• Conducts daily counts, reviews results; determines cause of errors, codes count accordingly.
• Inputs/maintains count records and reports via SAP.
• Accurately performs material transactions and Master Data maintenance as assigned.
• Works with representatives from a broad range of functional areas (customer service, warehouse, accounting, purchasing, receiving, assembly, etc.).
• Assist in root-cause analysis and problem solving
• Other duties as assigned.

The Inventory Control Associate 1 is responsible for receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment. Plans the movement of materials to ensure the efficiency of warehouse operations. Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. Plan, implement and control the movement and storage of goods and services from the point of origin to the point of consumption. Aim to conform to customer requirements and delivery of finished goods or services efficiently and effectively.

Education and Experience Requirements
