Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accuracy of inventory records, manage cycle counts, and calculate finished goods values for financial reporting. This role reports to the Procurement Manager and requires attention to detail and reliability.

You will handle receiving, issuing materials, and staging inventory, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed. Strong Excel and ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • MRP and ERP system knowledge used to manage inventory.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand the manufacturing process and document impacts.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct cycle count reports for accuracy.
  • Perform corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Calculate finished goods values for financial reporting.
  • Manage storage, receipts and staging of inventories.
  • Support reporting including usage, age reports and month-end balances.
  • Receive products into inventory and issue raw materials to jobs.
  • Assist with quality control issues at MIC locations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for accuracy and integrity of the inventories at MIC. The Inventory Control Specialist develops and directs the cycle counts and maintains the records for audit purposes. This position is responsible for calculating the values of finished goods inventories. The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the Procurement Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES
  • ¨ Development of the cycle count reports
  • ¨ Corrective actions for prevention of future issues discovered during cycle counting
  • ¨ Calculation of finished goods values for financial reporting
  • ¨ Responsible for the storage, issue and receipts and staging of the inventories
  • ¨ Support reporting activities including quarterly usage and age reports, across the dock information for savings and month end inventory balances
  • ¨ Receive product into inventory
  • ¨ Issue raw materials to jobs
  • ¨ Willingness to work overtime, holidays, weekends as required
  • ¨ Other duties as assigned
