Job summary

Valdese Weavers LLC is seeking a detail-oriented team member for the Filling Staging department. The role involves sorting returned yarn, scanning labels into SAP, and organizing items into buggies for rebinning, all while upholding safety and ISO 9001 standards.

Expect to work 2nd/3rd shift with a $1.00 shift premium and a $50 attendance bonus every two weeks with perfect attendance. Training is in-house, and a PIT license is required to operate equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Must be able to discern colors.
• Willing and able to work six to seven days per week when scheduled.
• Must have a license to operate PIT equipment (e.g., cherry picker).

Responsibilities

• Sort through returned yarn from Weave Room and place into buggies for rebinning.
• Scan yarn labels for location and place yarn into buggies.
• Label buggies with location: row number and high/low area.
• Keep the computer work area clean and floor swept.
• Follow ISO 9001 work instructions and safety guidelines; report injuries and hazards.
• Follow shift start/stop times and breaks; accommodate overtime as scheduled.
