Job summary

Don Wood Automotive in Athens, OH is seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate vehicle and parts inventories. You will enter data in the dealership system, verify arrivals and transfers, and assist with stock‑in and audits. Strong Excel and data entry skills are required.

The role is full‑time, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to support multiple departments in ensuring inventory accuracy across the dealership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous inventory, administrative, accounting, or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for new and used vehicle inventory.
• Enter and update vehicle information in dealership management systems.
• Verify vehicle arrivals, transfers, and deliveries.
• Assist with vehicle stock-in procedures and inventory audits.
• Track dealership supplies and parts inventory as needed.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances.
• Prepare inventory reports for management.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Coordinate with sales, service, and accounting departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
