Job summary

MMT in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Inventory Clerk II to join our hands-on manufacturing team. You will maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, verify receipts, and ensure materials flow to production on time.

You’ll work with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Accounting and other teams to resolve discrepancies, process BOM transactions, and support kitting and order fulfillment. Prior inventory or warehouse experience is preferred.

Inventory Clerk II

Location: West Palm Beach

MMT is looking for an experienced Inventory Clerk II to join our team. This is a hands‑on role supporting a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where inventory accuracy, organization, and timely material movement are critical to daily operations.

In this position, you’ll work closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Accounting, and other teams to ensure materials are received correctly, inventory records are accurate, and production has the parts and materials needed to get the job done.

What You’ll Do

Inventory Control & Materials Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor current stock levels.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Research and resolve inventory shortages, discrepancies, and transaction errors.
• Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and BOM‑related transactions in the system.
• Maintain documentation and records supporting inventory accuracy and audits.
• Help ensure inventory is properly identified, stored, labeled, and organized.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform inventory‑related data entry and administrative tasks.

Receiving

• Receive, unpack, verify, and distribute incoming materials and supplies.
• Process Purchase Order receipts and accept parts into inventory.
• Process full and partial Manufacturing Order receipts into Finished Goods inventory.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate teams.
• Restock inventory and ensure materials are placed in the correct locations.

Kitting & Production Support

• Pick, prepare, and stage materials for production work orders.
• Complete Manufacturing Order picklist allocations, material issuing, and kitting.
• Manage inventory and kitting of manufacturing tooling and fixtures.
• Support Sales Order fulfillment and kitting.
• Assist with the movement and dispatching of warehouse stock.
• Complete daily part requests and process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).

Cross‑Functional Support

• Work closely with Production and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Help identify and resolve inventory issues that could impact production schedules.
• Provide reliable and timely support to internal customers.
• Perform other warehouse and inventory duties as needed.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working with inventory systems, and willing to take ownership when something doesn’t look right.

Preferred Qualifications Include

• Previous inventory, warehouse, materials, or stockroom experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, receiving, and kitting.
• Experience working with ERP, MRP, warehouse management, or inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to investigate inventory discrepancies and follow through to resolution.
• Comfortable performing data entry and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ability to read and follow Manufacturing Orders, Purchase Orders, picklists, and related documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and a strong sense of accountability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical duties associated with a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
