Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an inventory and materials associate to support daily operations in Connecticut. You will maintain control of indirect materials, tooling, and services, perform cycle counts, verify shipments, and coordinate with production to ensure tooling availability.

You will work onsite five days a week in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, applying strong organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail to help keep operations efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of related experience in inventory management or materials control.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or regulated environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP tools and inventory management systems.
  • Experience performing cycle counts, tooling inspection, or materials coordination.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail in inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain control and accuracy of multiple inventory types including indirect materials, tooling, and services.
  • Obtain pricing quotes from vendors for indirect purchases.
  • Verify quantities and documentation for incoming/outgoing shipments.
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with records.
  • Receive packages and ensure proper storage or distribution of materials.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure tooling/materials availability.
