  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to validate inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve inventory variances using warehouse systems and inventory records.
  • Process inventory-related system transactions to support material movements and inventory control activities.
  • Monitor and manage inventory control reports, including expiration, pending purge, stock block, and related inventory status reporting.
  • Create and support transfer orders to facilitate inventory movement across locations and operational areas.
  • Respond to internal and external inventory-related requests and provide timely resolution of issues.
  • Partner with warehouse teams to clear discrepancy areas and maintain inventory compliance standards.
  • Support additional inventory management and control activities as required to meet business needs.

A Day in the Life

The Inventory Planning function supports the accuracy, control, and movement of inventory across distribution and warehouse operations. This team is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, supporting operational continuity, and ensuring materials are available to meet business and customer requirements. This position is based at the Memphis Airways distribution facility in Memphis, Tennessee and is an onsite role. Team members are expected to work on-site to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. Travel is not anticipated for this position. Primary Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using SAP Enterprise Resource Planning software.
  • Turret truck and reach truck operating experience.
  • Experience generating and analyzing inventory control reports to identify and resolve inventory issues.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting inventory accuracy initiatives within a distribution center or warehouse operation.

  • The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
