KTA Super Stores in Hawaii is seeking an Inventory Clerk 1 to accurately input data into the Pricing and Information System and support Store Operations. You will handle data entry, updates, and reporting while coordinating with Buyers to ensure timely submission of information.
The role requires attention to detail, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to work with others in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time, day shift position in Hilo, HI with hourly compensation.

The primary responsibility of the Inventory Clerk 1 is to accurately, efficiently, and promptly input data into the Pricing and Information System and communicates information to Store Operations.
Continuously: Perform all duties in an office that is clean, adequately lighted, air conditioned and has no windows.
Generally be available for work Monday through Friday and holidays, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Frequently need to use a computer to input and maintain data and run reports; calculator, photocopier, printer, fax machine, postal machine, and other office equipment to process claims and invoices, or when performing other office related duties.
Occasionally need to use a telephone to communicate to other staff in the company.

MENTAL Continuously need to concentrate well, be alert and pay attention to detail to perform all duties; be able to comprehend instructions before performing each duty. Frequently need to use mathematical skills to calculate cost of goods; perform all duties in a professional manner.
PHYSICAL Frequently need to sit at a desk and use a computer (monitor, keyboard, printer and mouse) and a telephone, throughout the day. Occasionally need to stand and walk to access various office equipment and supplies, and to travel to other departments and worksites; lift and carry up to 50 pounds when transporting supplies; stoop, bend, kneel, reach, crouch, climb and maintain balance on ladders and step stools when storing or retrieving supplies.
COMMUNICATION Continuously need to listen, talk to, understand and be honest and forthright with customers, co-workers, management and Buyers in a prompt and professional manner when doing all job duties; talk on the telephone when communicating with store personnel, Buyers and vendors concerning cost of goods; read efficiently to produce accurate work. Frequently need to write in a coherent and legible manner, memorandums, reports, etc. when communicating with customers, co-workers, Buyers and management; need to read and understand various invoices and credit memos, emails and other printed communications.
