Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics USA is seeking an Inventory Clerk to ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of materials within the warehouse management system. The role supports inventory processes by maintaining records, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, managing inventory counts, organizing documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data handling.
  • Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to follow standardized processes and quality procedures.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a quality, clerical, or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.

  • Maintain and organize documentation, including filing and archiving of required records
  • Verify data accuracy and support inventory processes within assigned areas
  • Report all deviations, discrepancies, or damages immediately
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen activities
  • Maintain 5S standards within assigned work areas
  • Follow emergency procedures and protocols as required
  • Support inventory processes, including year-end inventory activities

Description

The Inventory Clerk role is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of materials and documentation within the warehouse management system. This position supports inventory processes by maintaining records, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard work procedures at all times
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory counts to company standards
  • Maintain and organize documentation, including filing and archiving of required records
  • Verify data accuracy and support inventory processes within assigned areas

Work Environment
  • Warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 33 pounds as needed
  • Required use of Personal Protective Equipment while on the shop floor
  • Exposure to moving equipment and operational warehouse conditions
